I just wanted to introduce myself and let all you fellow bloggers know that I am available for any questions, suggestions, or if you would just like to chat.  I will also be posting new product announcements, or anything really. From our products, to different products to watch out for.  I also have plenty of literature, and abstracts, and different clinical studies. So if you have questions let em rip.  Thank you and I hope to see you all soon.

Hey Freaks,

Please welcome BavitaminsRep into the forums. He does have a real name and it's Edward. While talking with Tom over at Bariatric Advantage this morning I let them know that we had a forum over here for their products in case they wanted to be a part of it. Tom immediately sent Ed my way and I encouraged him to join up. So, if you have questions about their products feel free to post them in here.

Lastly a quick thanks to Tom and Ed for being a part of the community. I know we have had a few questions come our way about vitamins that we couldn't answer, so it will be great to have a resource here for just that.

Hi Edward,

I am still in the process of checking some vitamins. Right now, I am more into taking the liquid vitamins. I was wondering if there is anything new to try for vitamin D.

I am taking liquid multivitamin, and liquid (sl) vit B12. I am considering your products for sure, but not really sure where I should start.

Thanks...

Hi there. Are you more interested in chewables etc.  Let me know and I will more than glad to send you some samples of the different flavors we offer. Unfortunately the only type of vitamin D we do carry and it is D3 form is in a capsule.  Please let me know if you would like me to send out some samples. We also have a b-12 sublingual which is great. Private message me your name and address and I will process a sample order free of charge.  Thank you and let me know if you have any additional question.

Hi Ed!   Smiley

This is more of a suggestion than a question.

I called and asked if I could get a few vitamin samples.  The guy took my name, email (he said an email would be sent so I knew when they would arrive.  I never got one.) and home address and nothing ever came.  No biggie.  I didn't realize there was actually a sample pack you can purchase which I think is pretty cool.  So I added that to my order.

This is a great idea because the cost of vitamins can be huge for some people.  Before I spend a ton of money I want to make sure I'm really going to like what I'm ordering.  Sometimes word of mouth isnt always that great.  I had spent about $130 last month on vitamins because I'd get something and then hate it and go get something different.  I have a bunch of bottles of vitamins now that I'll never take.  So I was really happy to see this offered on the website.

Well I got the pack today and although there were quite a few samples, they were mostly all the same which doesn't do me much good.  I dont know if all the sample packs are like this but mine isn't much of a variety at all.

All 3 chewable iron's are passion fruit, all 3 chewable multis are orange and there are 4 calcium citrates... 2 chocolate and 2 cinnamon.

I was hoping to be able to try more than one flavor in the iron and multi.

Anyway, I just wanted to bring that to your attention.  I don't know if all the packs are the same but I think there should be more of a variety since it's something that's paid for and not given for free.

With that said, I loved the chocolate chew.  I actually bought a bag without trying them because everyone has been raving about how good they are.  The lemon ones are on back order and I cant wait for those to arrive!  Smiley

MelissaAletha,

Thank you for that, it should have came with different flavors. I apologize for that. Please send me a private message with your info so I can pull up your account in our system and I will resend you a new one.  Thank you and again I apologize for that mishap.

Ok... is it rude to ask for samples???  I keep reading and reading  and just don't know what I'm going to love... I hate to buy full size stuff while in the searching stage... lol  There just seems like so many choices..... overwhelming for someone that can take a long time to make her choice....lol

No way Beth!  Ask them for them.. It's like the local dealer - the first few are free... then you are hooked.   Hit Ed up on here or give them a call.  They are all very nice and happy to help.

Hi new member here,

I am having trouble with the calcium lozenges I got the mint flavor. I got a big container from the pharmacy of where my surgeon works out of. OMG taste like I am got a gobb of toothpaste in my mouth. And take so long to dissolve. So it just sitting there sitting on my shelf. I went and got some citrical over the counter. But not sure if you can take that post op because it is pill form. The multi vitamin orange is ok but would like to try other flavors. Also I haven't try other bariatric vitamins yet. My hemogolobin was low 11.2 which normal is guess 14 and above. And I am just pre op. I am already losing my hair. My surgeon told me to get over the counter biotin and zinc. I am confused on what to take and find things I will like. I am having the distal gastric bypass. I will get my surgery date soon waiting on approval from insurance company. Is there samples that your company gives out. If so I would be defiantely interested. So then hopefuly I can find things I would like and order. I have already gone through 2 bottles of the bariatric adtvantage multi vitamin just about week or so left.

Thanks
